I am currently completing my last year of graduate school for my MBA. Business school has given me self-confidence in my ability to design, produce, and market my ideas to customers who would enjoy them. My artistic talents were realized at a young age by my parents, and because of that, I was enrolled in art classes throughout my childhood to develop my skills. Professionally, I have worked for ArtWorks of Cincinnati, and I’ve assisted on a large scale art installation commissioned by the Mayerson Foundation. I reside in the great city of Bellevue, KY with my husband Andrew. We have two crazy dogs, Melbourne and Brisbane.

I grew up in the Czech Republic, but I moved to Scotland for university. I’m studying communication design at Gray’s School of Art, focusing on illustration. My favorite part about my education is that it allows me to meet so many great people, from all over the world, studying things I didn’t even know you could study. I love the inspirational place my university can be, and the freedom it provides. My dream career after you graduation is to definitely be an illustrator! Outside of school I love studying languages, and drawing. I also used to do sport climbing. I can speak Czech, English and Korean, and I’m currently learning Japnanese.

I am a Boston-based graphic designer and illustrator. I have done illustration work for over 20 years, and architectural renderings with traditional techniques of pen ink and watercolor since the 80’s. I am originally from Mexico, from a family of architects. My style is heavily influenced by the cultural background of my home city, family, and the long interest in learning from the great illustrators and architects of the time. I live in Massachusetts with my children and cat. I find the distinct beautiful seasons of the east coast as an inspiration to go out and sketch people and the old architecture of the city.
